Hanging pipes is a multifunctional decorative object. Crafted from bent and welded aluminum tubes, it serves both as a decorative element and a functional storage surface, acting as a flexible canvas that can adapt and transform within a space. The key feature of this design is its hollow structure, which can be easily filled with tap water through a designated opening. Placed outdoors at night to cool, it can be brought indoors during the day to gradually release stored coolness, leveraging water’s high heat capacity to lower surrounding temperatures. Made from Hydro CIRCAL recycled aluminum with a low carbon footprint of 1.9 kg CO₂e/kg, the lightweight structure weighs only 5 kg when filled, providing a sustainable and efficient cooling solution for both residential and public spaces.
